Live from the stable

We work together in real time while you're with your horse. We connect from your stable, where you feel most comfortable.

From home, with video analysis

We meet on a video call while you sit comfortably at home, without your horse. Together we go through the videos you sent me, and I give you new exercises to practise.

What to prepare

For live lessons at the stable:

  • A strong, stable internet connection
  • A good spot for your phone, or a helper who can follow you with the camera
  • Good wireless AirPods, so you can hear me clearly at all times
  • A fully charged phone, so the session doesn't cut off halfway through
  • Your horse, ready in a safe, enclosed space
  • Your usual equipment, so I can see how you work together now

For both: comfortable clothes and an open mind.

What to expect

We'll start with a short chat about you and your horse. Then I'll watch, guide you step by step and give you clear exercises to try right away. You'll leave with a few simple takeaways to practise and a clear next step.

Frequently askedquestions

Which option is right for me?

It depends on where you are right now:

  • If you're a beginner in groundwork, or you want to work on a specific behavioral issue: book a First consultation.
  • If you know where to start and have a good internet connection at your stable: book a Live session online.
  • If you prefer to learn at a slower pace, or the internet connection at your barn isn't great: book a Home session online.
Can I book a live session online right away?

Yes, you can. If you're not new to groundwork, we can meet live with your horse straight away. But if you'd like to tell me your story first and explain the challenges you're facing or the goals you'd like to reach, a First consultation is the better start. We meet online from the comfort of your home, so you can talk freely without worrying about your horse.

How often should I book a session?

I recommend one session every two weeks. I'll give you homework to practise in between, so you keep learning at your own pace. What matters most is that you feel comfortable and stress-free, and that you have something to look forward to.

What equipment should I prepare?

It depends on what it's for:

  • For your horse: whatever you work with right now. We can talk about the best equipment during our session.
  • For our call: good wireless AirPods so you can hear me clearly, a strong internet connection, and a fully charged phone, so the session doesn't cut off halfway through.
Do I need a tripod for the sessions?

No, not at all. Your phone can stand on anything, as long as I can see you and your horse clearly: a fence post, a bucket, or a bag leaning against the wall works just fine. You can also ask someone to follow you with the camera.

How long is a session?

Usually around an hour. Plan for a few extra minutes so we have time to reflect and process.

Can I join with an older horse, or is it only for young horses?

It's for all horses! No matter the age, it's never too late to communicate with your horse.

What is a mentoring session?Coming soon

A mentoring session is for anyone who wants to go deeper in their personal growth. It combines natural horsemanship with coaching, and it's built on a partnership between us. Together we look at what's holding you back, such as low self-esteem, lack of self-belief, self-doubt or fear around your horse. We identify your limiting beliefs and the obstacles in your way, gain clarity about what you truly want, and build strategies to move forward. Horses are wonderful mirrors, so working with them helps you build confidence and trust in yourself, and strengthens the bond with your horse along the way.

Disclaimer: Mentoring sessions are coaching, not therapy or medical treatment.
